“I’ll never comment for a Rival News Site”

In a moving display of valley loyalty, local icon Mary Fringe from Blaenllechau has officially declared her unwavering support and exclusive allegiance to My Rhondda News, following the “insulting” arrival of a rival page called Reporting Rhondda or something like that.

The new page has been desperately trying to lure Mary into their comments section with repeated calls and visits by their reporter to Mary’s house in Blaenlleachau.

Speaking from her front door (exlusivly to My Rhondda News), Mary made her position crystal clear…

“It’s absolutely ridiculous, really,” Mary scoffed. “This new Rhondda Reporting lot messaged me asking for a quote about speed bumps, but I’m busy enough with my commentry for My Rhondda News, I just don’t have time for the both of them.”

Mary went on to explain that her loyalty and vocal support aren’t for sale.

“I only comment on My Rhondda News stories. I’m a woman of my word, and I’m putting my full support behind the real team. I won’t have my name appearing next to some lies. If it isn’t MyRhondda.com, I’m staying silent.”
